The group's monthly club meeting on Jan. 5 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 551 (79 Hamilton St. N. in Waterdown) will be open to the public and runs from 7:30-9:30 p.m. There will be a guest speaker and discussions about what's visible in the sky this time of year. This month's discussion is black holes. There will also be a Public Night on Jan. 18 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at the RASC Hamilton Observatory.
