The Audi A8 hybrid can drive at up to 100 km/h purely on electric power and has a range of up to 1.86 miles at a con- stant 37 mph. Audi also revealed four new high-performance Audi S models sharing one remarkable new eight-cylinder engine which enables them to counterbalance outputs of up to 520 hp with the potential for up to 29 mpg. The new bi-turbo V8, incorporating cylinder on demand technology and a host of other advances, replaces the natu- rally aspirated V10 FSI engine in the all-new S6, S6 Avant and S8 models, and in the process improves economy by as much as 25 per cent. BENTLEY: The second generation of Bentleys iconic Continental GTC takes cues from its GT coupe sibling launched last year. The four-seater luxury convertible fea- tures a new, even more spacious and sumptuous hand-crafted f cabin, with soft-touch leather hides, an extensive range o wood veneers, cool-touch metals and deep-pile carpets. It is powered by a 6.0-litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine with a new QuickShift transmission. Power output is raised to 567 hp and the famed Bentley wave of torque has been increased to 516 lb/ft. BMW: Having its world premiere in Frankfurt was the new BMW M5. It features a new, high-revving V8 engine equipped with M TwinPower Turbo technology delivering a peak 560 hp and 500 lb/ft of torque through a seven- speed M double-clutch Drivelogic Transmission to the rear wheels, where the new Active M Differential ensures an ideal distribution of drive torque, even in highly dynamic driving situations and on rough terrain. Average fuel consumption of the new BMW M5 is 9.9L/100 km in the EU test cycle and has been reduced by more than 30 per cent compared to its predecessor. CHEVROLET: The Chevrolet Colorado Rally Concept previews the next generation of this midsize pickup truck while the futuristic-looking Chevrolet Miray merges a jet-inspired exterior with an advanced hybrid powertrain technology. The Concept is powered by a 2.8-litre turbo- diesel engine and sports two 5.5 hp winches that have been incorporated into its front and rear bumpers. FERRARI: The new 458 Spider joins the 458 Italia offering the same handling and performance in a refined open top configuration. It is equipped with a Ferrari patented, fully retractable hardtop, a world first for a sports car with this layout. The 458 Spider is powered by Ferraris naturally aspi- rated, direct-injection 4.5-litre V8. Entirely in aluminum, the hardtop solution adopted for the 458 Spider offers a number of advantages over the traditional folding soft-top, including a reduction of 25 kg in weight and a deployment time of just 14 seconds. FORD EVOS: Making its global debut was the Ford f Evos Concept representing the ultimate expression o Fords new global design language, and exploring key future powertrain and vehicle technologies. Seamless connectivity between the vehicle and the drivers per- sonal cloud of information is at the heart of the vision for its capabilities. With information from the cloud, the vehicle can provide the same connected lifestyle the driver experi- ences at home or office. The car knows the driver, and automatically adapts handling, steering and engine con- trols to deliver an exceptionally dynamic driving experi- ence. INFINITI: The perfect high-performance Infiniti Crossover designed by, and built for, Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel is the lightest, fastest and most aerodynamic FX yet. It reflects the World Champions desire for a 300 km/h CUV that he can drive on his home countrys de-restricted Autobahn. Based on the already fast and sporting V8-powered FX50S Premium, the FX Sebastian Vettel version fea- tures changes to engine, suspension and body, with key aerodynamic enhancements implemented with input from Red Bull Racing. JAGUAR: The Jaguar C-X16 production concept is a precursor to future Jaguar sports cars that will aim to set new class benchmarks in design, vehicle dynamics and technology.
