Oakville won all five of its contests, outscoring its oppo- sition 23-5. The Rangers defeated the Scarborough Bruins 9-0, Markham Islanders 4-1 and Stouffville Clippers 2-1 in the prelimi- nary round, then tripled up the Milton Winterhawks 6-2 in the semifinals before edg- ing the Leaside Flyers 2-1 in the gold-medal contest. Members of the team are Doug Bertrand, Antoine Brochu, Connor Chambers, J.J. Cipriano, Colin Clarke, Alex Cox, Logan Crozier, Marko Jughovic, Patrick Leon, Chris Luongo, Lukas Marek, Sean McKellar, Jacob Serensits, Ben Sisokin, Jake Smyth, Tyler Spence and Ryan Wolski. Despite having only five players on its roster less than a year ago, the U11 squad recently won the South Region Soccer League (SRL) League Cup championship. The U11 C team lost four players to the U11 B squad shortly after beginning train- ing last year, forcing the club to move sev- eral house league players into the rep sys- tem to fill out the C team. Showing great effort throughout the season, the team managed to win the SRSL League Cup despite having had limited playing time together. U11 C coach Rick McAulay credited the teams overall success to the players passion for the game and commitment to learning. Members of the team are Surjun Jagpal, Ben Cates, Michael Desautels, Diego Conde, Matt Diong, Nicholas Scarcelli, Hamzah Al Kudairy, Braden Fulton, Connor Bell, Maxwell Mungar, Matty Demita, Nick Furtado, Sukhman Jagpal, Troy Hendricks, Zachary Jones, Michael Gardiner, Timothy Arsan and Vlad Berbecel.
