DAVID RITCHIE / SPECIAL TO THE BEAVER OXYCONTIN STOLEN: Police at the scene of a Sunday afternoon robbery of Shoppers Drug Mart at Hopedale Mall. Shoppers robbed Halton police are looking for a red- haired man who allegedly stole OxyContin from the Shoppers Drug Mart at Hopedale Mall at 1515 Rebecca St. Sunday afternoon. Police said the incident occurred around 3 p.m. when a lone man went to the pharmacy area of the store and passed a note to the employee on duty demanding the painkiller OxyContin. The note also indicated the man had a gun. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of OxyContin to the suspect who then fled the store. No one was hurt during the rob- bery and no weapon was actually seen. The man is described as white, in his mid-40s, six feet tall, with a thin build, reddish hair and a pale com- plexion.
