MITCHELL, Robert Louis It is with his love in our hearts that we announce the death of Bob Mitchell on F r i d a y A u g u s t 2 7 , 2 0 1 0 . B o r n i n W i n d s o r, O n t a r i o , B o b m o v e d t o Oakv i l le 55 years ago wi th h is wi fe a n d c h i l d r e n . B o b h a d a l o n g , rewarding career at Confederation Life un t i l h i s r e t i r ement . The fo l l ow ing years were dedicated to giving back to the communi ty and reach ing out to others through Rotary, fundraising and pastoral care. Bob was a man blessed with many talents, from being a part of Maple Grove United Churchs choir to t r y ing h i s ve r y bes t to mas te r the game o f go l f ! Bob a f f ec t ed many peoples l ives and loved to surround himsel f wi th fami ly and f r iends. We feel blessed to say he remained in our arms until the end. Bob is survived by h i s w i f e , B o n n i e , h i s s i s t e r R u t h Wygant, his children; Jim (Jan Ketley), Jane (Vic Freiheit) and Robyn (Peter B r a n d t ) . H e w a s a c h e r i s h e d g r a n d f a t h e r t o S a r a h , J o n a t h a n , Rober t John, Kate , Stephanie , E l len and Brody. There will be a celebration o f Bob s l i f e on Sunday September 19 th , 2010 a t Map l e G rove Un i t ed C h u r c h , 3 4 6 M a p l e G r o v e R o a d Oakvi l le, Ontar io. Service wi l l be at 2:00 pm with a reception following.
