However, like most daily tasks, guys are always looking for those time-saving tricks and tools. Shaving, for example, is one of the most important rituals of the day and men don't need to sacrifice style to save time. Shave some time off the morn- ing schedule by using these quick tips: Use a wet and dry shaver There are mornings when a shower isn't an option; however men can always have the flawless look of a great shave. A wet and dry electric shaver allows men to have the choice to shave with gel and water, or without - like convention- al electric shavers. By using the new Philips versatile 3D SensoTouch line of electric shavers, which can be used wet or dry, men can ensure a smooth shave while keeping their skin healthy. Coffee can wake up your skin and your senses Moisturizing is key to having healthy skin and finding the right one doesn't have to be as hard as it seems. There are some moisturizers that actually have caffeine as an ingredient and this helps your skin wake up just like a cup of coffee helps you. Pick up the mess before it starts Make a conscious effort to keep the counter and your face - free from unwanted facial hair with Philips' new Vacuum Beard Trimmer Plus, a trimmer and vacu- um all-in-one. This trimmer fea- tures precise cutting and channels the hairs to an internal vacuum keeping the counter-top clean and your significant other happy. Changing your morning routine doesn't have to cause unneeded stress. The most important thing is to be flexible and confident in your own personal style. My neighbours are far more important than property, he said, pointing out that he has done so much with the build- ing, referring to the gallery and the tower, although every- thing is showing critical signs of wearing out and he is often on the roof, trying to find and stop leaks. Currently the property is zoned as agricultural and he has a permit to operate a business, so he can still sell paintings as domes- tically produced art. Why the recent spate of painting then? I write every day, he says. A couple of pages every day for the past 10 years. I wanted to do a drawing of myself to express the same thing. I changed to painting. At first I wanted to do a self portrait. In the beginning it was just a self portrait, just my face. But I extended a little more, including chest arms and then legs. Initially he used a small mirror, then two larger mirrors on the side and back, sitting in his gallery with no clothes on. How did that feel? Cold some times, he said. Since beginning in March, he has finished about 50 paintings. He liked them, so they had to be displayed. They had to be shown to people. They might like them too. I see that thousands of people pass by every day and I put them out as an experiment. But it worked. People came. He sets the paintings out in the afternoon and evening and has rigged up a number of lights, splicing random lengths of wire together to highlight the paintings in the evening. He notes that people would walk by, see the paint- ings and stop, and he has now added a few female figures. Every day there was more and more interest. Van der Hart claims he doesn't want to sell the paintings and none of them are priced. I like to meet people. People say 'We see you and wonder what it was about.' I don't know where it is going to take me. I don't know. I just do it.
