Seven months earlier, Vista Spa, at the same address and using the same telephone number, was also raided and three people were charged. "In February of this year, the Town of Oakville bylaw department, which regulates the businesses, noticed a business was open again (at the location vacated by Vista Spa) this time under the name Sapid Sweets Health Centre," said Duraiappah. "When they did their inspection, they noticed it was open and appeared to be almost the same place, just under a different name, and so they passed that information on to us and that's what prompted us to commence our investigation in March." Duraiappah said it is common in the GTA for police to raid an alleged bawdy house only to see that business close and another one reopen at the same location under a new business name and with new owners. "Part of our course of action is to engage in repeated enforcement," said Duraiappah.
