Equipment stolen from construction sites The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating the theft of equipment from two construction sites in Oakville sometime overnight on April 17. The theft occurred at a fenced construction site located on Park Avenue. Entry was gained through a garage under construction and a large generator was removed. A theft also occurred the same night at another residential construction site on Howard Avenue. The suspect(s) were able to enter this vacant structure and remove a power generator and a hand-held compressor. Police believe the thefts are connected.
