Oakville Taste comes to Appleby College The taste of Oakville will be on the menu when more than a dozen restaurateurs, caterers and bakers combine their efforts later this spring. Oakville Taste 2010 is taking place Sunday, May 30 at Appleby College. Participants will be able to sample and pair signature foods, food styles, beers and wines from local producers at the event. There will also be a silent auction. The net proceeds of the event will go to Oakville's Kerr Street Ministries food bank. The event runs 2-6 p.m. Tickets cost $75.
