More than 100 themed gift baskets were designed and donated by families in the congregation. The bazaar will also offer a lunch café, homebaking, preserves, plum puddings, cheese blocks and candy in the downstairs church hall, as well as hot dogs and drinks, and carved pumpkins for sale in the parking lot. The bazaar supports St. Simon's' outreach activities, including the five-day-a-week Breakfast Program (staffed and funded by St. Simon's parishioners) at Montclair Public School (previously, at Lorne Skuce Public School over the past 10 years). We would also like to thank the hundreds of families who attended and supported this event. Through the sales of barbeque lunches, raffle tickets and a donation from TD Canada Trust, this event raised more than $8,000. The proceeds raised will go towards funding the purchases of essential medical equipment at OTMH, including the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Service unit at OTMH.
