The largest consumer warehouse and outlet sale in southern Ontario descends on Hamilton the weekend of Nov. 20-22. Just in time for consumers to start their holiday shopping and for business owners to move their post-summer and pre-winter merchandise. It all takes place in more than 170,000 square feet of the newly renovated Careport Centre in Hamilton's west end, off of Hwy, 403 in the McMaster Innovation Park -- the largest exhibition space between the International Centre near Toronto's Pearson International Airport and Niagara Falls. The floor plan for the sale divides retailers, distributors and manufacturers into eight departments: automotive, household, clothing, fashion accessories, toys, electronics, sporting items and food. According to event organizer Brad Dean, more than 200,000 bargain-hungry buyers are anticipated at this three-day sale. With easy move-in and out access, exhibitors and vendors can spread their wares over anywhere from a 100 sq. ft. up to 2,500 sq. ft. of space. Costs start at $4 per sq. ft. For consumers, access is handy off of Hwy. 403 for visitors from the west and east, and once arrived, parking at the corner of Longwood Road and Aberdeen is ample and free.
