Started by twin sisters Daphne and Ofra in 2001, Boa caters to the fashion forward, price conscious, and urban chic female. "Wanting to provide exclusivity for our customers, we try to provide generally one of each size at the best prices," owner Daphne says. Boa has also garnered a strong reputation for its' funky, original accessories including earrings, necklaces, handbags and belts. "To create a smaller carbon footprint, we import our merchandise straight from Los Angeles," she explains. "We receive merchandise weekly." "We work with a local company that uses the plastic wrapping for filling pillows," she says. They have also eliminated the use of plastic shopping bags, two years ago.
