Whether residents are attending one of the many community events planned in Oakville for Earth Hour, or just enjoying a quiet moment with their family, they are invited to share their experience with Beaver readers. A few of the pictures will be pub- lished in the Wed. April 1 edition of The Oakville Beaver, and staff photographers will also compile from the submissions a slide show of Earth Hour in Oakville on the Beaver's website at www.oakvillebeaver.com. Photos should be sent via e-mail in high-resolution jpeg format (300 dpi recommended) to rjerred@oakvillebeaver.com -- with Earth Hour in the subject line. Participants are asked to include the name of the person who took the photo, details about the picture -- such as where it was taken and the full names of the persons depicted.
