The Oakville Beaver will announce the local winner later that week. The Beaver will also shine the spotlight on the local winner by publishing a feature article and photo of the band's talented musicians in an upcoming print edition. Then, winning bands from Oakville, Burlington and Milton will move on to Metroland's Best of the West Battle of the Bands championship round, where their awesome sound will go head-to-head to crown the champion band. Now that the bands have completed their duties, it's up to you, the readers, to choose the eventual champion. In Oakville, three bands entered, including Alright Alright, Icarus and The Orange Freestate. Once there, you will be invited to view each of the band's submitted biographies, lovers to help boost our local, talented musicians.
