The concert that saw Burgess appear with tenor and Honourary Ecumenical Assistant at St. Jude's The Rev. Dr. Mervyn Russell, accompanied by St. Jude's Assistant Music Director Andrei Streliaev, was in support of the $Million of More Oakville ($MOMO) campaign to fight AIDS/HIV in Africa. The campaign aims to raise $1 million or more locally by the end of this year in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation and its grassroots aid projects in sub-Saharan Africa.
