20 - The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday January 21, 2009 www.oakvillebeaver.com Top Canadian Athletes Add Energy and Context to Lancer Sportback Introduction Mitsubishi invites Right To Play ambassadors to underline charity involvement Carguide Magazine Metroland Newspapers Top Canadian amateur athletes, Melanie Turgeon and Benoit Huot joined Tomoki Yanagawa, Vice President of Sales/Marketing and Corporate Planning for Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, in an athletic themed presentation of the all new, exclusive to Canada, 2009 Lancer Sportback GTS five-door and the 2009 Lancer Sportback Ralliart fivedoor, at the recent Montreal International Auto Show. Well known to most Canadians, Turgeon, a former competitor, was the best downhill skier at the 2003 Alpine World Ski Championships. Joining her was Huot, a medal winner at Sydney and Athens and a fierce competitor who won four bronze medals in swimming at the Beijing Paralympic Games, 2008. On hand as good will ambassadors for Right To Play, both athletes engaged in humorous give and take with Yanagawa, and helped to demonstrate some product features, and provided lucky journalists with signed Right To Play promotional red balls at the end of the presentation. Right To Play is a primary Mitsubishi charity and these two exceptional athletes were meant to represent the performance, sports heritage and athleticism that are inherent in all Mitsubishi vehicles.
