www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver Weekend, Saturday December 20, 2008 - 31 Celebrating success Visit hospital online Visit the new Oakville hospital online at www.newoakvillehospital.com. While its permanent address will be on Dundas Street near Third Line, for now, the new Oakville hospital does exist already on the World Wide Web. Halton Healthcare Services (HHS) and the Oakville Hospital Foundation (OHF) invite residents to check it out at www.newoakvillehospital.com. The new website offers information about the project and is easy to navigate. It offers information currently available about the new hospital with a few clicks of the mouse. For many people the Internet is a top spot to find information. With that in mind, the new Oakville hospital website is a key source of information for the community. As the project progresses, the website will evolve to include the most up-to-date information and introduce new features. Construction of the New Oakville Hospital is not scheduled to take place for several years, however the website is a great place for people to go and find out what is happening `behind the scenes' during the time leading up to the start of construction. "We recognize that people are tremendously interested in this project and we want to continue to engage them in the process," said Bill Bailey, HHS vice president of redevelopment. "This new website provides us with a forum to share information with our community and encourage their participation in the process," said Bailey. Some highlights of the site include: · Video. Visitors can watch video from the sign unveiling. New videos will be added as events happen. · Timeline. Check in on the schedule -- see what's been done and what's ahead. · FAQs. Get answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. Can't find what you're looking for? Send questions via e-mail. · Latest News.
