White Oaks' Matt Padmore staked the Wildcats (2-0) to a 13-0 lead by the six-minute mark of the first quarter, running for a pair of touchdowns. Ridge (0-2) struck for two majors in the final six minutes of the contest. Brent Thompson scored on a 75-yard post pattern, breaking two tackles on the way to the end zone, but the convert failed on a bobbled snap. That proved costly in the final minute as, after Adam Polgar's quarterback sneak pulled Ridge within 14-12, White Oaks stopped the Wolfpack on a two-point conversion attempt. Wildcats tight ends Dan Doherty and Hasib Aziz each made several catches to help White Oaks move the chains throughout the game, while middle linebacker Matt Montgomery recorded a pair of sacks and harassed the Ridge offence. Nick Montgomery and David White were also instrumental in slowing the Wolfpack running game, though Ridge's Devon Hiyashida still managed to rush for more than 150 yards. Mike Landry intercepted two passes for the Wolfpack, which will visit the Milton District Mustangs tomorrow (Thursday). White Oaks will travel to Burlington Central. Titans on an early roll The Holy Trinity Titans continued their earlyseason dominance by steamrolling the Robert Bateman Wild 42-0 in senior Division 1/2 play. Jordan Catterall scored three touchdowns for the Titans (2-0), who have outscored their opposition 91-0 this season. Ashton Rochester, Josh McDougall and Jordan King also reached the end zone for Trinity, with Matt Toppan kicking six HIGH SCHOOLFOOTBALL extra points. The Titans will travel to Milton Friday for a clash with the Bishop Reding Royals. STA downs Loyola Matt Poretti recovered a fumble in the Loyola end zone to help the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders to a 13-3 victory over the Hawks in a senior Division 1/2 clash. Chris Knap also scored a major for the Raiders, who prevailed despite taking numerous penalties in an uninspired effort that did not impress head coach Gerry Knap. Alex Kuntz provided Aquinas' other point, booting a convert. The Raiders (2-0) hope to be sharper this week when they take on the M.M. Eagles, Tigers, Devils also winless The Abbey Park Eagles, T.A. Blakelock Tigers and Oakville Trafalgar Red Devils are also still looking for their first win of the senior Division 1/2 campaign. Abbey Park fell 36-0 to M.M. Robinson Thursday, while OT lost 56-7 to the Christ the King Jaguars and Blakelock dropped a 39-7 decision to the Assumption Crusaders Friday. OT's touchdown came on a pass from Jordan Bisset to Creigh Adams; scoring details from the other games were not available. The Crusaders were 8-4-1 in regular-season play, while Balmy Beach was 7-6. The two teams split their regular-season meetings, each winning on the road.
