The Hamilton Amateur Astronomers held a public astronomy night at the Burloak Waterfront Park last Saturday. The demonstration began at twilight as the amateur astronomers demonstrated their equipment to visitors. As it became dark around 9:30 p.m., they began training that equipment on some of the brighter evening objects such as the moon and Jupiter. When it became fully dark, they took a look at some of the dimmer objects such as star clusters and nebulas to provide variety for the audience.
