Strikers start strong, then bow out A newly-formed rep team, the Oakville Strikers under-10 girls' soccer squad won its first two games before bowing out of a recent tournament in Ancaster. The Strikers defeated the Burlington Rebels 10 and the Ancaster Thunder 2-0 in their first two games. Oakville was then eliminated, however, with a 1-0 loss to the Mt. Hamilton Avalanche.
