(November 11, 1930 - May 20, 2008)- Ivan, loving husband for fifty-four years of Gail, died on May 20, 2008 after a long struggle with dementia. Father of David, Steven (Helen), Lawrence (Stephanie) and Nancy; grandfather to Evan and Eric; and brother of John (Betty), Gary and Robin (Valerie). Born in Belfast, N. Ireland on N o v e m b e r 11 , 1 9 3 0 , I v a n c a m e t o Canada in 1950 with his parents and brothers, and was a member of the Toronto Police force for several years. He graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1967 and practiced in Calgary until his retirement in 1996. Ivan was predeceased by his parents, and his son David in 1980. He bore his illness with considerable grace and dignity and was lovingly cared for by angels at Extendicare Cedars Villa. Cremation has taken place. There will be no Funeral Service held.
