Beginning mid-January, this program will be offered by the partnership at the Oakville Museum, 8 Navy St., on Thursdays from 7­10 p.m. Taught by working professionals with an intimate knowledge of the region, the certificate includes courses in budgeting, grant writing, board and leadership development, marketing communications, fundraising and sponsorship. Each course offers 15 hours of ideas and coaching ­ three hours each night, over the course of five weeks.
