O'Neill will be guest speaker at the event to be held at the Oakville Conference & Banquet Centre on Wyecroft Road at Bronte Road. O'Neill is remembered for her role in the Hollywood hit movie, Summer of '42. The internationally-acclaimed actress is a film and television star, spokeswoman, composer, author, artist, mother of three, and noted as one of the most beautiful women in the world. Having sustained a long career as the original CoverGirl Supermodel along with her prolific acting career, O'Neill has become an author and official spokesperson for the U.S. Silent No More Awareness Campaign. Her message, summed up in her own words, "Ignorance is not bliss, and women not only deserve better than abortion, they deserve the right to know the complete picture of what is so easily called a simple procedure. They deserve the truth." O'Neill who had an abortion said, "I profoundly regret my abortion. Although not everybody does, millions of women and men do. Beyond the baby's voice, let their voices be heard." Friday's event begins with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Along with O'Neill's keynote address following dinner, there will be entertainment by Mark Patel, who sings ELVIS, as well as a silent auction and opportunity to dance the night away.
