The Carousel of Nations Cultural Fall Festival was initiated in 1999 by the United Way of Oakville to celebrate diverse cultures in Oakville. The festival has allowed cultural groups and visitors to the pavilions to celebrate their heritage by tasting food, learning through arts and educational displays and observing traditional entertainment. Over the years the event has been recognized as one that fosters cultural awareness and understanding of other cultures in Oakville and Halton.
