Born in Cowansville, Quebec on July 28th, 1918. Predeceased by his beloved wife Bridget "Bridie", (2000) and son John "Jackie" (1981). Survived by his daughters Janet (Rick) Cornwall, Carla (Bert) Allen and his dear companion Gwladys Bruce. He will be missed by his grandchildren Chris (Heather), Marc, Jonathan (Annette), Jill and Brynn. His eyes would light up at the sight of his great-grandchildren Haile, Jensen, Parker and Jackson. He proudly served the Armed Forces for 28 years, including WWII campaigns in Germany, England, Holland, France and Italy. For several years he owned Mississauga U Drive, with his son Jackie, until he retired. He and mother travelled extensively and spent the last 25 years between Oakville and Naples, Florida. Friends will be received at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road, West (east of Kerr St.) on Wednesday August 22nd, 2007 from 6pm until 8pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, August 23rd at 11am. Interment to follow at St. Jude's Cemetery.
