CALL 905-632-1414 728 Burloak Drive Hospital foundation canvassers start knocking on doors Monday The Oakville Hospital Foundation is launching its annual door-to-door fundraising campaign in Oakville beginning Monday. The canvassers will go house to house on behalf of the hospital to ask for community support by joining the Oakville Hospital Foundation's Monthly Giving program. This campaign will raise awareness during the next three months about the hospital and the foundation. "The Monthly Giving program provides a simple and convenient way for the community to support OTMH," said Allen Wightman, Executive Director of the Oakville Hospital Foundation. "By arranging pre-authorized payments each month, donors can support projects and programs every day of the year. This program is one way in which residents of Oakville are able to have a direct impact on the health of our community." The canvassers will be in Oakville neighbourhoods Monday through Saturday, excluding major holidays, asking potential donors to consider making a long-term pledge to the Hospital. This is done either through direct debit or credit card payment. Cash will not be accepted. Each canvasser has a photo I.D. that will be clearly visible and there is also a toll free number for any potential donors who require more information before making their decision. To find out more about the program, call Mandy Walsh, Development Coordinator at 905845-2571, ext. 4352. The foundation has partnered with a company called Fundraising Initiatives Inc. (Fii), which specializes in door-to-door fundraising, to execute this campaign for OTMH. DO YOU RIDE THE GOT PAIN? GO TRAIN? You're in luck... DR.
