He last raced in a world triathlon championships in 1992, when the event was held in Huntsville. Rose will be joined in Switzerland by Hamilton Hammerheads teammates Tyler Lord and Mat Reid as well as World Cup mainstay Kyle Jones. Mike Bentivegna and Brian Rea also scored three times for the Buzz, which carried a 2-0 record into last night's final round-robin contest versus the Calgary Shamrocks (a game that began after the Beaver's press deadline). Oakville rebounded from a onegoal loss to Elora by winning its next four games. The Hawks defeated Windsor 13-9, Welland 5-3, Elora 5-3 and Nepean 5-4, but were then downed 7-2 by the host Whitby club in the gold-medal game.
