Kuntz said he would hate to see the hospital lose money because it was a hospital and not a community health care centre. "It is easier to get funds if you are not a hospital, than if you are," he claimed. As a result, the Town‘s Legal Department is examining the possibilâ€" ity of a bylaw designed to restrict their activities. For the mostpart, fishing and boatâ€" ing coâ€"exist without incident. Some anglers, however, trespass on vessels and leave everything from cigarette butts to fish entrails on tenants‘ decks. "There is also willful damage through a basic lack of respect in attempting to gain access to areas where fish are running," Kyle added, explaining how boats can be a barrier to prime fishing spots. Kyle said the problem is virtually limited to Bronte Harbour since â€" unlike the Sixteen Mile Creek â€" the Twelve Mile Creek is stocked with salmon. Wherever problems exist, though, Kyle says it comes down to an issue of public access to the waterâ€" front versus the rights of those who have paid to moor their boats safely. The consequence of these two sides colliding can be dangerous. Kyle explained how some fishermen get their hooks caught in rigging or buried in a line. When the boat owner, or especially their children, grabs the rope a nasty injury can As a result, the Authority is supâ€" porting a Bronte Harbour Yacht Club initiative to circulate a petition pressâ€" ing for a bylaw to restrict fishing to areas where there are no boats. This way, neither group will infringe on each other‘s right to enjoyment. Currently, police involvement is limited to laying trespassing charges if someone is found onâ€"board who shouldn‘t be. n an effort to keep a leash on illâ€"behaved anglers, the Town is looking into the possibility of prohibiting fishâ€" ing within Oakyville‘s harbours. 28 Pages Sale Price©24.95 + ©10.00 OFF Why put clean oil v Eue B JET AUTO CENTRE 75 Cents (GST included) FRIDAY 8 CHURCH DIRECTORY.....21â€"22 22 ..... 23 ------------------------- Return of a classic play Producton of The Glass Menagerie has surprises Looking back on 1993 A Royal Visit, a new bridge, federal election.......
