The award is in honor of Ray McConnell, a former parks and recreation leader who was killed 11 years ago in a traffic mishap involving an impaired driver. Making the award was Oakville Parks and Recreation managâ€" er of programs Ray Chisholm and Eva McConnell, Ray McConnell‘s grandmother. Starting next month, Julie will be working full time with the Oakville Family ‘¥‘.
