The increase can be attributed to things like increased salaries for Council and municipal office staff, and an increase in the size of municipal reserve funds. "Council feels that sooner or later, these projects will have to be done," says Clerk-Treasurer Aurel Gauthier. An increase of $26,116 in the cost of operating the fire department--which is expected to cost $71,210 this year-- can be attributed to a $8,000 cost of purchasing new turn out gear, $9,000 for the purchase of continued on page 2 TERRACE BAY INSURANCE LTD. e New Revised Auto & Property Rates We offer Mature Owners Discounts, Claims Free Discounts, Non Smokers Discounts & Alarm Credits * Cottages SIMCOE PLAZA TERRACE BAY 825-3246 * Home * Business * Auto * Recreational Vehicles * Etc.
