These seniors Walker's Club have walked the equivalent of the distance from Terrace Bay to Thunder Bay. Not the whole distance at once mind you, but in the past month, they covered a combined distance of about 120 miles. The "Walker's Club" was start- ed up last month by summer employee Allyson Graham as a summer project for the seniors. Every day the seniors would walk along the path near Highway 17 or through the Birchwood grounds. Allyson hi ON NOW TILL "SEPTEMBER 1ST STOCK UP ON SCHOOL SUPPLIES CHECK OUT OUR GREAT SELECTION OF BACK TO SCHOOL FASHIONS | ct Sa DRAWS would record the distance that each person walked each day and sometimes would walk along with them. Allyson had a weekly file to keep track of the miles. The Walker's Club accomplished an astounding-120 miles in just under a month in this group effort. The participants were: Wallis Barker, Tina Young, Anne Rybak, Viola Hansen, Mel Cady, Thursa Thompson, Edward Danio, Maybelle Furlonger, Luella McColeman, Spencer Wilson, Werner Ziegler, and Yvonne Arsenault.
