There are very subtle twists of humour though, and that helps, but you really have to watch for them. If I had seen this movie on T.V., I would have turned it away at the first commercial break. I did rent it though, so I stayed with it to the bitter end. And I do mean bitter. The characters slowly seep into your mind. Even though you don't particularly like any of them, you are curious to know what happens to them. The end is coming; the characters are fight- ing; someone walks away from someone else. Do they get back together? Are they happy? Is life okay? Don't ask me. This movie ends without answering a single question and I honestly shouted, "T that it?" If. you.want.a.movie that, you can use instead of warm milk and - a bedtime story, this is it.
