The girls' teams, who played every day at lunchtime for 3 weeks, were made up of students from Grades 4 to 8. The third place Chanel No. 5 team came back to keep first place when it was all over. Second went to the Oscar de la Renta team and third to Vanderbilt. Teachers Maxine Holland and Tracy Semmer were in charge of the threee week program. The boys grades 4 to 8 also had three teams who played dur- ing Mya and part of June. Harold Shack was the teacher who orga- nized the three teams. Shawn Figliomeni's team won out of the three teams. onda Bolan, Lis Costa, and Lesley Pellegrino. Reeve Mike Cosgrove and Councillor Ed Borutski presented Mike Reid with a cheque from the Schreiber Township which will go towards the building fund. 'The new club house is close to being finished. A dining lounge and pro shop on the upper level are already open to the public. The course, which opened this year at the beginning of June, has around 300 members with about one third from Schreiber. Mike Reid stated, "We've made an application for a liquor license which we'll hopefully receive in 2 or 3 weeks."
