Provincial Judge R. Mitchell presided. Nickalos Chopty of Terrace Bay pleaded guilty to Drive Motor Vehicle with over 80 mgs alcohol in his blood and fined $400.00. His license was prohib- ited for one year. Lloyd Fairservice of Schreiber pleaded guilty to the same offense and was fined $600.00. He also received the mandatory one year license prohibition. _ Wayne Sheppard of Schreiber was convicted of Impaired Driving with over 80 mgs of alco- hol in his blood. He was sen- tenced to 14 days in jail, and pro- hibited from driving for 2 years. He was also placed on probation for a period of 6 months. On Friday, June 1, 1990, Peter Gutta of Schreiber was sentenced in Thunder Bay concerning a break-in, extensive damage was done to the equipment and interi- or, as well as numerous articles of clothing, including several formal dresses for graduating High School students. The grant will help the group establish a resource centre where learners are matched with volun- teer tutors, who help build read- ing skills with the help of training materials and equipment.
