Your left hand should be palm up with the lead in it. Only keep your dog in a sit, stay for 10 seconds, then return to your dog. Use a release word such as "OK". By Angie Saunders The Midget District AA Finals took place on March 23-25 leaving Schreiber the champions. The three other teams compet- ing against the Schreiber ; -Northstars were: Red Lake- West Division, Thunder Bay- Central Division, and Filane's Fallen Rock- East Division. Schreiber showed how hockey is really played at the champi- onships, winning every game played. In the first game against Filane's Fallen Rock Schreiber beat the team with a score of 11-1. Red Lake was next to be over- come by Schreiber who won with a 6-3 score. Thunder Bay lost 7-5 in the third game against Schreiber. The Schreiber Northstar Midgets were also very success- ful throughout the whole hockey year. They won the Wawa Midget Tournament, CKPR Tournament in Thunder Bay, and a tournament in Deerwood, Minnesota. The Northstars also won the North Shore Midget Zone and The Eastern Zone against Filane's Fallen Rock.
