There are just a few more days left before the closing date of Septmeber 2, so call the rec office and reserve your booth. May we ask those who have reserved booth space to pay their space fees before September 5 in order to secure their area. We invite all residents to come in and join us on Sept. 11 from 12 noon to 6.00 p.m. for an exciting afternoon of shopping, organization registration and seeing the different displays of culture, fashion and art. Winter Programs The Recreation Department will be presenting their fall programs to the community in more detail in next week's issue of the News. Presently, we would like to inform the community that there 'will be morning, afternoon, and evening sessions of exercise classes for all adults, cooking, sewing, children's programs (crafts, skat- ing, bowling,), paper tole, ceram- ics, wreath making, Christmas dec- orating, smoking and many more programs. Rec Complex Closure There will be a holiday for the Recreation staff on Monday, Sept. 5. The Terrace Bay Recreation Complex will be closed on that day. Please be aware that the winter hours at the rec complex will become effective Sept. 1. The children of both the munchkins and munsters were treated to a wind up party on Friday, August 19th. We would like to thank Mr. Russ Baxter for supplying the cleaning materials. We believe that the summer was a huge success and we look forward to seeing all the children in 1989. Please note that a blue gym bag was found after the sleepover at the recreation centre and also a mini tonka truck. These articles may be picked up at the recreation office. Also note that 2 spalding soccer balls were lost during the summer. If you know the whereabouts of these balls please return them to the recreation office. Confederation Courses We would like to remind every- one that the Recreation Department has a supply of Confederation College Program Brochures of fall courses being offered in Terrace Bay and Schreiber. Please feel free to stop by and pick one up. N.C.C.P. Coaching Clinic A.N.C.C..P. Level 1 Coaching Theory Clinic is being planned for the fall. This clinic is open to all sports.
