A couple of weeks ago the Junior and Senior Girls' Volleyball and Boys' Basketball teams played in two locations; on Friday in Geraldton and on Saturday in Red Rock. The annual Students' Council Christmas Assembly held just before school got out in December was cut short due to a severe snow storm. As a result, the balance of thé program, as well as the Yearbook Auction, are going to be held during the second week of February. The Santa Claus letters will be late, but should be good fun never- theless. Now that the winter season is upon us, it should be noted that snowmobiles are allowed on school property, but only by registered students. The Yearbook students provided refreshments again at the recent Olympic presentation at the high school. Thanks go out to the Concert Series for the opportunity to raise money for the 1987/1988 Yearbook. Thanks also go out to: the stu- dents who helped, Joanne Lalonde, Doug Burton and Carrie Paukstys.
