It represents a continuing commit- ment to complement the resolve of law enforcement agencies, provincial and municipal officials and other concerned groups and individuals to make our streets and highways safer. According to the Canadian Cen- tre for Justice Statistics, a national trend is developing toward fewer alcohol-related arrests. During the five-year period ending last year, there was a 19 per cent drop in impaired driving arrests across Canada. This encouraging trend is due to a drastic change in social attitudes toward drinking and driving. The brewers of Ontario applaud all efforts that help reduce the toll of death and injury on our roadways. The brewers of Ontario have also supplied 25,000 'None for the road' ice scrapers to several Ontario law enforcement agencies, to be given to 1:30-2:30 p.m. and in the evening from 8-9 p.m. You must register prior to atten- ding your first class and the sessions will run only if there is sufficient registration. Greetings..... continued from page 2 associated with Christmas. Children should rejoice to learn of the Saviour's birth. Does it. dishonor Christ to remember the Only begotten of God at Christmas? Someone says Christmas came from heathen sources. Maybe some do have a heathen kind of celebration, but we do not have to be like the heathen. We can celebrate Christmas in a way that will honor God. The Bible has much to say about this wonder- ful event. It is good for us to remember this wonderful birth as recorded in the Bible for our information and edification. Let us have a wonderful Christ- centred Christmas. j Pastor Jim Johnson, Grace Baptist Church. ed in last week's issue. 825-9379 or 9395 or SIMCOE PLAZA TERRACE BAY, ONTARIO (Mon. - Fri. 10:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.) THE LAW OFFICE OF EDWIN W.
