Does the thought of using the same old decorations and wreaths for another year leave you with a terminal case of the blahs? Then come to hear Mrs. Lille Haworth of the Royal Botanical Garden give a lecture/demonstration on Christmas decorations for all the house. She will show you how to make wreaths for the front door, swags for the walls and table ornaments for center- pieces using evergreen branches and _ boughs sparkled with bows and other special touches. Mrs. Haworth will bring the mechanics and supplies for making these decora- tions and they will be for sale at the same price they are sold for in the Gift Shop at the Royal Botanical Garden. Master of Ceremonies, Rick St. Louis began the evening by asking for a minute of silence in memory of Ken LeBlanc. He then called on Mary Pat Russell to say grace after which everyone sat down to a delicious meal catered by Fay Figliomeni. After supper, Rick introduced Linda Sodaro, President of the mixed league who presented trophies donated by OV to Jody's. Then Rick introduced the 1985 Men's Executive and presented each member with a plaque. President - R. Smeltzer; Vice Presi- dent - Mike Stortini; Treasurer - K. Fischer; Secretary - K. Papineau; Statistician - L. Orlesky and Umpire-in-Chief - B. Gugelyk. The Season Champion- ship Plaque and cooler bags donated by OV were presented to the Tigers and then the Kimberly-Clark playoff trophy and_ in- dividual trophies were presented to Grenier's Bandits.
