Schreiber Wins!! Fun Run Walk a success The Annual North Shore Recreation Directors Par- ticipaction Challenge was' not only a success in Ter- race Bay and Schreiber, but all along the North Shore. Marathon takes home the Participaction Banner for the most participants, (751) and Schreiber wins for the highest percentage of the population par- ticipating, (31.17 percent). Ron Lairavee, Rec. Director. in Schreiber . is very pleased with the turn- out. "We improve our numbers every year", say both Ron and Terry Bryson, Rec. Director in Terrace Bay. With Kimberly Clark shut-down being in the same week we may have lost a few par- ticipants to overtime,"' says Terry, "'but our numbers are encouraging." Blue Jay Camp in Thunder Bay The Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club will be con- ducting a tryout camp in Thunder Bay on Sunday, LOST Black cat with a white front, in Schreiber. Reward offered. Manitouwadge 17 per- cent, 630 persons. Longlac 20 percent, 465 persons. Geraldton 15 percent, 420 persons. Nakina 14.3 percent, 122 persons. Red Rock 8 percent, 125 persons. Nipigon 20 percent, 515 persons. Dorion 30.75 percent, 151 persons. June 9, 1985. The tryout will take place at Port Ar- thur Stadium beginning at 11:30 a.m. and is open to players 16-20 years of age.
