Schreiber residents are reminded that By- Law 605, Section 4.11 (Building Permit By- Law) requires that a permit be obtained before the instaliation of a heating system, or new boiler or furnace is instal- led in a residence. The Ontario Building Code, which is in ef~ fect in all parts of the Province provides for minimum clearances on installation of furnaces both solid fuel burning, and oil. Any person who is installing a new heating system of any kind, and who Is concerned regarding the correct clearances to be main -tained, should contact the Schreiber Fire Brigade, P.
