DECEMBER 14, 1977 TERRACE BAY NEWS : PAGES RECREATION DEPT. | WEEKLY REPORT THEATRE WORKSHOPS : As advertised previously, the NDWT Company will be performing the live theatre play "WACOUSTA" in Terrace Bay on Monday, March 13th. More information on this play will be made available starting mid January. However, as part of the theatre production on March 13th, the NDWT Company is prepared to do a workshop tour in Terrace Bay. The date of the workshop tour will be Thursday, January 12th. We are hoping to schedule 3 workshops during the day. Each workshop will be roughly 1% to 2 hours in length. The workshop is handled by two professional actors and they are are prepared to work with young children, high school students or any interested adults. Techniques of theatre are introduced during the workshop and during the two hours, the actors will build a small play including local | history or local events of importance. This workshop tour sounds to be very inter- esting and the Recreation Office will be in touch with school principals to try and estab- lish a schedule. To page 6 ....
