DECEMBER 14, 1977 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 11 SCHREIBER PARKS AND RECREATION COLUMN NORTH SHORE MINOR HOCKEY: The Terrace Bay Pee Wee and Bantam teams are 'here on Wednesday, December 14, 1977 beg- inning at 7 p.m. Terrace Bay Midgets here on Monday, December 19th. SCHREIBER - MANITOUWADGE MIDGETS: The Wrigley Playdowns started here Saturday December 3rd with the Schreiber and North Shore Allstar Midgets playing the first game of a two game total point series. The game ended in a 3-3 draw. On Sunday, December 4th the same two teams played in Manitouwadge and the score was 2-1 for the Allstars. The All- stars now advance to the next step of the series. Yo NO. PUBLIC SKATING: On Wednesday, December 14th there will be. no Public Skating due to North Shore Minor Hockey. ART CLUB REGISTRATION: each Sunday at 12:00 noon at the Arena. You will require skates, helmet, mouth guard, mitts/gloves, hockey stick - no longer than your arm pit when standing on skates. Parents are needed and will rely alot on their support if this Winter activity for girls in Schreiber continues. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CURLING: : Students of grades 7 & 8 met at the Curling Club and were told the Curling Club regulations and general rules of the game, on Monday, Dec- ember 12th. The schedule will be drawn up in the near future along with the teams and dis- tributed. League play will start on Wednes- day, January 3, 1978 at 4 p.m. sharp. RECREATION SURVEY: 'The recreation department will be circula- ting a survey in Schreiber to obtain informa- tion for programs, talents, facility priority, what activities are there for females, males, now, what should there be more of.
