The correct score at the end of the game should have read 42-42 forcing an overtime, but due to a mistake in the official count of the run- ning score the girls were forced out of the finals in a close game of 42-40. So we live and learn (check the score between quarters, they could be wrong). It was a disappointment to the girls as they tried hard and played well. The girls then went on to defeat the Sioux Warriors 58-34 to win consolation. . Sprague Manitoba ended up top team of the tournament. The girls also lucked in on some fine games of basketball played between universities from Alabama, North Dakota, Minnesota, Waterloo, Ottawa, Duluth and Lakehead. The girls are to be congratulated on a fine display of basketball.
