Reeve C. Brassard, Councillors G. Ramsay, M. Helmink and P. Romanuk; Clerk Co-ordinator W. Hanley and M. Simmer. The resignation of P.A. Turner from the Municipal Office staff was ac- cepted with regret. / | Letters were received from two residents of trailers in Terrace Heights Subdivision requesting that they be allowed to remain past the end of 1977. Council's decision was that trailers should be removed by December 31, 1977, in accordance with the Subdivision Agreement. The First Terrace Bay Ranger Cadet Company was given permission to hold an "Almond Blitz" on December 7, 1977. A dozen reflectorized safety vests are being ordered for the use of Crossing Guards and Public Works employees as a safety measure. By-law No. 299 being a by-law to authorize the provision of municipal and school tax credits for the assistance of elderly persons, was read a first, second and third time and finally passed. George Ramsay will purchase a suitable Christmas gift for the residents ' of Birchwood Terrace. : Peter Romanuk reported that plans for the annual municipal Christmas party for elected and appointed representatives on December 2nd have been completed.
