Prizes for costumes will be awarded, "TERRACE BAY "POLICE DEPARTMENT POLICE REPORT 12 TO 16 OCTOBER 1977: During the period of 12 to 16 October, the Terrace Bay Police were called upon to investi -gate sixteen occurrences. On October 14th, two rifles were stolen from a pickup truck parked in front of the Towne Cinema while the owner was watching the movie. Stolen was a 30-30 calibre rifle and a .303 British military rifle. Any informa- tion received regarding this theft will be treated in strict confidence by the Police force. , On October 15th, Police investigated an accident in the MECO parking lot. A vehicle driven by Brigitte Speer was northbound in the parking lot when it was struck by a veh- icle driven by Clement Begin. Damages are es- timated at $700.00. Also on October 15th, an officer on patrol received an obscene telephone call and when he returned to the police office, someone had thrown 'a large rock through the Chief's office window. Damage is estimated at $800.00.
