They ordered a three year subscription for the French magazines, "Actua-} lite", "Chatelaine" and "Macleans". It is difficult to fill the requests of the younger Finnish readers. N.W.R. Library and Interloans sent all that were available. More will be available when N.W.R. Library re- ceives their order dir .ct from Finland. Seventy-seven paperbacks were obtained through General Publishing's forty-eight hour service. Sixteen of the new Charlie Brown re- prints were ordered. Purchase of new shelving will be finalized 'at the next meeting. The Board approved the purchase of drapes, a children's reading table and chairs, two adult modular units and a mobile catalogue file. The problems of reprinting and rewriting local history was discussed and deferred. The library will post information on how the Louis Plumb Fund can help beginning writers.
