PAGE 10 TERRACE BAY NEWS APRIL 6,-1977 (1) (HOSPITAL NOTES RE: THE ONTARIO GOVERNMENT'S QUOTE =- "August 1977 for the project to go to tender" - (refer to page 6) - we feel the plans will be completed by the middle of June and the Development Committee hope the Ontario Government will call for tenders then - hopefully we can begin before the onset of the winter months. One unfortunate news item is that - due to rise in prices - the estimated total cost will now be 3 million dollars instead of the 2% million we will be working toward. That means that our share of 1/6 will be $500,000. and not the $450,000.00 we have "charted". In other words we need an extra $50,000.00 fifty-thousand).. : We know of many in our hospital area who have not yet made a contribution to the fund. Now that you know the hospital is a certainty, perhaps you will re-evaluate your position on this matter and make a generous donation to the Hospital Building Fund. At this moment -our total assets (cash ane pledges) are $266,060.69. We must have our one-sixth share of the Cost. when ready to start.
