These familiar faces are always wel- comed by the residents who throughout this EE time have started up many new and old friend- ships. The delicious arrangement of homemade baking they bring in for afternoon tea is a delightful way to finish off the afternoon. Thursday evening the residents celebrated "Heritage Day" at a social evening put on by the Kinsmen Club of Terrace Bay in the Legion Hall. The Kinsmen supplied transportation to and from the 'hall. The evening started with £7 playing card games and bingo. Later, live music was supplied by two fellows from Quebec assisting George Churney and Len Pineault. Se Throughout the evening the Kinsmen and their wives mingled with the residents getting them up to dance or just having conversation. > Drinks were supplied and a delicious buffet lunch finished off a most enjoyable evening. Winners of the bingo games were Cliff Riley and Charley Wedley. Clem Downey thanked the Kinsmen on behalf of the residents. Friday, the week was wound up with our Ere Birthday Party of the month.
