Tickets are limited so get your ticket now. _ Rule reminders ~ Curlers should be remind- ed of the following two rules when playing 'their games: (I) sweeping is not allowed on an oppositions rock in the house until the rock touches the tee line. In other words it is against the rules to "warm the ice" before the rock touch- es the tee line. (2) Sweeping behind the tee line can be done by any member of the rink. In past years, only the third or skip had the right to do so. The rule now reads "any member of the rink; however only one sweeper from the rink is all- owed to sweep behind the tee line." TERRACE BAY RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT BADMINTON CLINIC TODAY: "A reminder to anyone interested that an adult badminton clinic is scheduled this even- ing at the Terrace Bay High School starting at 8 o'clock. There is no charge for this clinic and no registration forms to fill out. Attend if interested. UPHOLSTERY WORKSHOP: Beginning next week an advertisement will - be placed in the news announcing a two week : upholstery workshop which will be held January I2th to the 23rd. Since this course will be limited to 10 people the recreation office 5 will simply accept the first 10 registrants & | who drop down to the Recreation Office and make payment for the course. Registrations will not be accepted until the advertisement appears in the news.
